My name is Vanessa Chavez.

I was born and raised in the great state of Texas.  

Three years ago I up and moved away from everything I've ever known to go live abroad.  The experience was an unforgettable one.  I made many friends, learned many lessons, and encountered new hobbies along the way.  

When I moved abroad I bought myself a Canon DSLR and discovered my passion for photography.  It's something I do because it's fulfilling and I slowly get to share my experiences through my perspective.  When traveling I try to keep my camera on me as often as possible to capture moments that arise throughout the day.  I enjoy many forms of photography.  I choose to take pictures of anything and everything that will let me. Currently I am a 4th grade teacher back home in Texas but will jump at the opportunity to travel.

I'm slowly branching out and attempting to tackle the business aspect of photography.  I sell prints of all my photographs and I also love taking pictures of people.  If you're interested in working with me just send me an e-mail and we can knock out the details.
